Take the A46 in the Sauerland (extension of the A45 from the Werl junction with the A44) to exit 70 Meschede. Turn right from the Ruhrgebiet and left from Winterberg onto Warstein Straße (B55). Follow the road to the end and turn left after the Ruhr bridge. After 600m, turn right at the traffic lights into Steinstraße. After another 1 km there is a first parking lot on the right below the dam. After another 1.2 km there is another parking lot on the left. There are further parking facilities on the way to Berghauser Bucht.
These places are stations on the "Obere Ruhrtalbahn". The RE17 (Sauerland Express, route: Hagen - Kassel) and RE57 (route: Dortmund - Winterberg) trains stop here. All stations have step-free access.
