Hikers have wonderful opportunities to explore the landscape around the Sauerland-Seen, partly on flat routes directly along the lake, partly on challenging high-altitude routes. Marked hiking trails as well as circular hiking trails through deciduous, mixed and coniferous forests provide the opportunity for impressive hikes. There are numerous rest areas and viewpoints along the lakes where you can relax during or after a long hike.
